November 27, 2006 General Meeting Minutes

    Meeting called to order at 6:04 P.M
    Presided over by Kay Sarri.

    Roll Call of Board Members and Officers
    Present: Kay Sarri, Dennis Smet, Darrell Thompson, Bill Gobin, John Holter, Marsha Holter, Ron Karlon, and Courtney Johnson. Absent: Ron Pearson, Connie Pribnow, Tom Champaigne, Chris Herman, Ken Lundberg, and Ron Gaare.

    October minutes were approved as posted on the club website.

    Treasurer's Report
    Given by Bill Gobin forRon Garre: Beginning of the month checking account- $6427.96 Bills paid of $332.90 Deposits- $150.00 Ending balance- $6245.06 Motion to approve treasurer's report made and carried.

    Committee Reports
    Habitat- Nothing planned as of yet Elections- Ballots will be mailed out for a new President to fill out the remainder of Dewey Fjelstd's term along with club renewal notices.

    Education- Dennis Smet reported both schools have 250 eggs incubating and expected to hatch around Christmas time. There is also an interest to sponsor other local schools.

    Hunter's Expo- No memberships or club paraphinalia were sold. It was agreed we need a much better booth display for future shows to help create a better presence.

    Old business
    Raffle- It was agreed to have 3 prizes with the bamboo rod 1st place, graphite rod second place and a guided trip on the Brule 3rd place. Price will be 3 tickets for $5.00 or 6 for $10.00. The drawing will be in June and info will be put in the newsletter and on the web-site.

    Brook trout regulations- Still moving slowly. New business; May meeting will be on the 3rd Monday to avoid a conflict with Memorial Day.

    Balance of the meeting was spent stuffing envelopes for the upcoming election.
